Permits

Here's where we cut through the red tape, so you can roll tape.

At Film Wellington, we look after all filming permissions in Wellington City.  We can also co-ordinate any permits you need to film in other parts of the Wellington region.

Our permits are now on-line.  You can download the permit as a Word document here: Film Permit.  Fill out the permit, save, and e-mail: film@filmwellington.com.  Please note you MUST save the file as a Word document (.doc file extension) in order for the information to load properly. 

Or, you can print out a hard-copy form click here and fax or drop it off at our office.  

We can turn around simple permits in 24 hours.  More complicated applications (e.g. full road closures) take longer.  And if you need it tomorrow, contact us by phone NOW!
