Safe and sound
More Wellingtonians feel safe in their homes than in other cities. (Quality of Life Report commissioned by national city councils 2001). A feeling that’s reflected in our low crime stats and one your production can benefit from through lower insurance premiums.
Small but perfectly formed
Central Wellington is only 2 kilometres in diameter, so you can walk from one side to the other in under 20 minutes. Nearly all Wellington residents live within 3 km of the sea.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all bars, restaurants, cafes, casinos and indoor work areas. However, it is not unusual for a designated outside area to be provided at these venues.
